Nanette van Vliet

Bio

Nanette van Vliet is a leading global advisor on business strategy and change across various industries including Oil & Gas, Finance, Material Handling Equipment, Automotive and non-profit governmental agencies. Equipped with broad knowledge and experience in strategic business analysis, programme management, operational improvement and change management, Nanette contributes to businesses and institutions on multiple levels.

Currently, Nanette supports an Oil & Gas company with implementing a global security strategy. Through various roles including, Programme Manager, Business Readiness Lead and Change & Engage Team Leader, she helps develop and realize the implementation of technical security solutions such as physical access control, biometrics and video surveillance to more than 250 sites around the globe.

Prior to this, Nanette led the introduction of an internal social media and innovation platform at one of the leading European Banks. In the industrial supply, automotive and material handling industries she supported business development strategies, which included the acquisition and integration of multiple companies in the United States, China and Latin America.

Nanette was a Co-Opted Member for the Board of Governors at the University of Falmouth and also served as a member of the audit committee. Currently, Nanette is a Non-Executive Director of Board Apprentice.

Nanette holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Affairs and Sociology from the University of New Hampshire and a Master’s Degree from the School for International Training in International and Intercultural Management.

Having been raised in various cultures, educated and working in dynamic international settings, Nanette fully understands the importance value of incorporating diverse perspectives in all endeavours.

Nanette lives in Jersey with her husband, two sons and dog. She enjoys spending her spare time with family and friends, traveling, paddle boarding, running, training for triathlons held in exciting locations.
