Charlotte Valeur, founder of Board Apprentice, has won The IOD Jersey Director of the Year Award 2017 for Small Business during the prestigious award ceremony held on Friday 28th April 2017.

Founded in 2014, Board Apprentice was set up to increase the number and diversity of candidates for board positions. Charlotte Valeur stated: “I really wasn’t expecting this award, Board Apprentice has taken off so rapidly globally, it’s a real honour to be presented with this award, it’s real team work which has enabled us to grow so quickly.”

A large and growing group of progressive governments, boards, companies and associations are using the Board Apprentice concept to make diversity happen in Jersey, Guernsey, United Kingdom, Denmark, Bermuda, Cayman Islands and Switzerland so far, we are excited to see many more countries interested to join BA Global and raise this important gap.”
