Margaret Casely-Hayford

Margaret Casely-Hayford was for nine years until July 2014 Director of Legal Services and Company Secretary for the John Lewis Partnership, following a twenty year career with City solicitors Dentons where she had been a partner.She decided in 2014 to transition into a Boardroom portfolio career when she was appointed Chair of the charity Action Aid UK. She is also a Government appointed non-executive director of NHS England, the organisation that has responsibility for the £105bn budget for the health service in England; and is on the Metropolitan Police Panel that is overseeing the investigation into police corruption.

She is supporting Board Apprentice in recognition of the opportunity it offers to potential non-executives from a wider talent pool
