Board Apprentice UK had its official launch at the House of Lords on July 2nd 2015 at an event generously sponsored by Inspire, lead by
Carol Rosati OBE.
Board Apprentice UK is run by a steering group.

Anthea Simmons (Nugent), MA Oxon
Anthea has held senior executive roles in institutional asset management and investment consultancy( Henderson, Gartmore, Mercer) both as a hands-on fund manager and operational head.
She has worked with SMEs as a consultant and NED.
A qualified MBTI practitioner, she is Chair of BA UK and of the UK selection panel.
Dowshan Humzah is a digital change and business transformation specialist who has delivered profitable growth for a broad range of companies in which he has held senior roles (The RSA Insurance Group, Virgin Media, Orange, Procter & Gamble).
In addition, he is actively involved in a range of ‘access to opportunity’ projects, supporting and driving ‘merit-based diversity’. He is a recognised advocate, contributes to the debate within industry and government and brings some powerful connections in the diversity and opportunity fields.
Carol Rosati OBE
Carol Rosati OBE is the founder of the global board networks Inspire and Aspire, which connect over 5000 senior businesswomen worldwide. As the networks have developed over the last seven years, she has gained a unique insight into the challenges faced by both the women and the organisations who wish to attract and retain them.
She is a Director and member of the Board Services Practice at Harvey Nash Executive Search.
Carol is also a qualified executive coach and sits as an independent non-executive director on the remuneration and nominations committee for Southern Housing Group.
Carol fully supports Board Apprentice and is introducing this unique concept to her extensive networks to identify suitable apprentice candidates.
Baiju Devani is a Cambridge economics graduate who trained formerly as an economist at HM Treasury and subsequently as a chartered accountant in the energy and infrastructure team at Deloitte.
He now plays a senior role within the clean energy industry. He gives BA access to a new pool of potential apprentices and we are delighted to be able to tap into his energy and connections.
